About the job

Own end-to-end validation of Amazon Leo’s satellite-based 4G/5G gNB across O-RAN layers, integrating protocol testing with phased-array antenna characterization and aerospace verification processes.

What you'll do

  • Validate RAN protocol functionality, performance, interoperability, and regression across O-RU, O-DU, and O-CU; debug issues using UE and gNB logs.
  • Integrate OTA beam-pattern measurements with RAN KPIs and perform Tx/Rx conformance and end-to-end system testing for NTN scenarios.
  • Develop automated test frameworks, validation procedures, performance-analysis tools, and RAN lab infrastructure; adapt campaigns to DVT, QTP, and ATP frameworks.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in RAN validation, wireless system testing, or 5G/LTE protocol testing.
  • 3+ years of experience with O-RAN components and interfaces; hands-on 3GPP 5G NR debugging at PHY, MAC, and RRC layers.
  • Experience with RF instrumentation, Python test automation and data analysis, Linux, Git, UE log-analysis tools, and protocol analyzers.
