What you'll do

• Lead data collection, sampling, evaluation, and experiments for RL gyms focused on agentic tool use.
• Build scalable gym-development, quality-control, evaluation, and validation tools and assets.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership through scientific reviews, mentorship, and collaboration with domain experts and cross-functional teams.

What they ask for

• Programming experience in Java, C++, Python, or a related language.
• PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field; or a Master's degree with significant additional applied research experience.
• Strong hands-on experience building machine-learning models and systems for real-world applications, including deep learning and neural methods.
• Experience with reinforcement learning and/or RL gyms, learning environments, or agentic tool-use systems; setting technical direction; and leading scientists or engineers.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of relevant work in industry or academia.
• Experience with automated evaluation or quality-control tooling, agentic tool use and LLMs, novel algorithms and peer-reviewed research, or large-scale distributed training and modern ML frameworks.

Pay

USD 228,700.00 - 309,400.00 annually (base salary); USD 198,900.00 - 269,000.00 annually (base salary)
