Principal PMT, Alexa Personality & EQ, Alexa Core Experience

What you'll do

• Define Alexa’s personality, conversational style, emotional range, and personalization strategy across customer interactions.
• Write and iteratively ship character instructions and style prompts; partner with design, science, and engineering to tune and evaluate models.
• Build quality measures and evaluation systems, make ship-or-hold decisions, and lead cross-functional teams in protecting Alexa’s character.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience with product feature delivery and tradeoffs, roadmap strategy and definition, and end-to-end product delivery.
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions about product technology decisions and strategy, and experience in technical product management.

Nice to have

• Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals, or developing, deploying, and managing AI products at scale.
• Experience building model-quality evaluation systems and making ship-or-hold decisions; defining measurable standards for subjective product qualities is also relevant.
