Regional Automation Engineer

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot material handling control systems and support root-cause investigations to reduce downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and escalation support to onsite automation engineers, including after-hours support.
• Commission and improve systems across regional sites; develop procedures, performance measures, and best practices.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, automation engineering, or equivalent, or 4+ years of PLC programming or automation engineering experience.
• 4+ years of PLC-controlled automation and issue diagnosis experience in a process or production environment.
• 4+ years of Siemens, Allen-Bradley or Codesys Ladder Logic and structure programming experience; 4+ years of robotics work cells and control systems experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays; travel up to 80%; active or obtainable pharmacy technician license in WA.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in a relevant field or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience leading controls in manufacturing or complex industrial environments; experience with motor controls or interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings.

Pay

USD 114,000.00 - 148,200.00 annually (base salary)
