Security Engineer, AWS Security Hub, Security Services (S2)

What you'll do

• Define cloud security best practices and technical compliance requirements across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Develop automated security checks and remediation procedures, including controls for Azure and GCP configurations through AWS Config.
• Map controls to industry standards and regulatory frameworks, and work with stakeholders to improve cloud security and compliance.

What they ask for

• 3+ years programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or a similar object-oriented language.
• 2+ years of non-internship scripting, programming, and security code review experience; 2+ years troubleshooting systems, analyzing logs, or automating tasks with command-line tools.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent; the posting also lists a STEM bachelor's degree or experience in IT Security, and a STEM bachelor's degree or 2+ years of IT Security experience.
• Knowledge of networking protocols such as HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP, and industry security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.

Nice to have

• 2+ years in any combination of threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, or network security.
• Experience with AWS products and services, or security activities across the software development lifecycle.

Pay

159,300.00 - 212,800.00 USD annually (base salary)
