Security Engineer II, AWS Cloud Security Response

What you'll do

• Reproduce, assess, and own security issues through resolution, including evaluating vulnerability severity and customer impact.
• Develop and validate code remediations and automation, and identify systemic patterns to prevent recurring security gaps.
• Coordinate with service teams and stakeholders, communicate issue status, and escalate when resolution urgency is insufficient.

What they ask for

• 2+ years of non-internship scripting, programming, and security code review experience in a common programming language.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, or 2+ years of IT Security experience.
• Experience working across and influencing teams, and mentoring, leading, or managing junior engineers.
• Experience in cloud services, cloud infrastructure, or cloud security concepts; 3+ years in information security, security operations, or security engineering.

Nice to have

• Experience developing code-level fixes or security patches for production cloud services; deep understanding of IAM and access control.
• Experience building security operations automation, proactive security engineering, or working with AWS services at code or architecture level; 2+ years with Data & AI technologies.

Pay

USD 159,300.00 - 202,400.00 annually base salary; USD 159,300.00 - 202,400.00 annually base salary
