Senior Applied Scientist, Delivery Foundation Model

What you'll do

• Design, train, evaluate, and deploy foundation models using image, video, geospatial, and sensor data.
• Lead research initiatives and collaborate with science and engineering teams to build scalable production solutions for delivery safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Mentor scientists and engineers while making hands-on technical contributions.

What they ask for

• PhD in a listed quantitative field or equivalent quantitative field, or a Master's degree and 10+ years of industry or academic research experience.
• 5+ years of experience building machine learning models or developing algorithms for business application.
• Proficiency with data and experience with SQL and Spark; expert coding ability in Python, C++ or other languages for production environments.
• Strong publication record at listed top-tier conferences or demonstrated experience applying machine learning innovation in industry; experience mentoring junior scientists or engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience building foundation models, designing multimodal architectures, or building motion prediction models.
• Experience with production ML deployments, large-scale distributed ML environments, or impactful first-author publications at major conferences.

Pay

USD 192,200.00 - 260,000.00 annually base salary; USD 167,100.00 - 226,100.00 annually base salary
