Senior Data Engineer, AWS Analytics Engineering

What you'll do

• Build and operate data ingestion, transformation, and analytical pipelines; improve processing tools and practices.
• Own team-level data and infrastructure architecture, including security, scalability, cost effectiveness, monitoring, and operational health.
• Provide technical leadership through cross-team collaboration, project delivery, mentoring, and architectural guidance.

What they ask for

• 7+ years of data engineering experience.
• Experience with a modern programming or scripting language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or NodeJS; MPP databases such as Amazon Redshift; and large-scale distributed data systems.
• 5+ years of data warehouse architectures, data modeling, ETL/ELT, reporting or analytics tools, data structures, and hands-on SQL coding.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent; experience mentoring engineers and communicating technical strategy.

Nice to have

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or EMR; operating large data warehouses.
• Experience with Data & AI technologies or delivering large cross-functional initiatives.

Pay

154,600.00 - 209,100.00 USD annually (base salary)
