Leads advanced prototype machining for aerospace hardware, owning complex CNC builds and setting machining strategy, standards, and improvement processes across the shop.
What you'll do
- Own complex aerospace prototype builds end-to-end and define machining strategy, CAM approaches, fixturing, and process sequencing.
- Partner with design engineering on manufacturability; set quality and throughput standards and lead continuous improvement.
- Mentor machinists and prototyping engineers, troubleshoot quality issues, and make technical decisions across concurrent programs.
