Senior Security Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineering, AWS Forward Deployed Engineering

What you'll do

• Conduct security reviews, threat modeling, and architecture assessments for production AI systems.
• Embed with customer-facing teams to identify security gaps and implement controls, including protections for AI-specific threats.
• Build security automation and reusable tooling, integrate security into engineering workflows, and respond to production incidents.

What they ask for

• 5+ years of experience across listed security areas, including application security, identity and access controls, incident response, cloud security, AI security, threat intelligence, or penetration testing.
• 5+ years identifying security issues and risks and developing mitigation plans.
• 4+ years of non-internship scripting, programming, and security code review experience.
• Knowledge of at least two of Scala, Java, Python, C/C++, or Go; experience with threat modeling and penetration testing, or the stated analytical, detail-oriented, and communication abilities.

Nice to have

• Experience securing service-oriented architectures, microservices, and web services; compliance standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST.
• US government security clearance of top secret or above, or 7+ years of IT platform implementation experience; experience with AWS technologies.
