Senior Software Development Engineer, Amazon Industrial Robotics

What you'll do

• Learn and master system components including networking/Wi-Fi, safety systems, and sensors.
• Lead system architecture, break down problems, mentor junior coworkers, and explain technical progress to non-technical leaders.
• Develop, test, and debug robotic systems, including automated and live testing to validate features and investigate issues.

What they ask for

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development and 5+ years programming in at least one language.
• 4+ years leading design or architecture of new and existing systems; experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years developing in C or C++ in an embedded environment or robotics, including hands-on design, development, and debugging of a listed product type; deep understanding of Hardware–In-the-Loop methodology and experience with Matlab and Simulink Real Time.
