Senior Software Development Engineer, AWS EC2 Nitro Team

What you'll do

• Drive development of new EC2 machine-learning platforms.
• Collaborate across teams developing hardware, firmware, systems, and application software.
• Solve performance optimization problems across the technology stack.

What they ask for

• At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• At least 5 years of programming experience in at least one language.
• At least 5 years leading design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead; expertise in C/C++ or Rust development in a Linux environment is also stated as expected.

Nice to have

• In-depth knowledge of ML frameworks and cluster management.
• At least 5 years of full software development life cycle experience; Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
