Software Development Engineer, Devices Software & Services

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and operate scalable backend services and libraries for AI/LLM-driven features, including model and tool integrations and agent capabilities.
• Build evaluation and regression tooling to measure and gate AI behavior, and apply security-conscious design to credentials, user data, tools, and autonomous actions.
• Prototype and deploy multimodal, proactive experiences across Alexa, Fire TV, mobile, and wearable surfaces; collaborate across teams and review AI-generated code.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years contributing to new and current systems architecture and design, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices across the full software development life cycle.
• Experience with industry-standard tools and scripting languages (Python or Perl) for automation.

USD 143,700.00 - 194,400.00 annually (base salary)
