Software Development Engineer, Devices Software & Services

What you'll do

• Design, build, test, and operate scalable backend services and libraries for AI/LLM-driven features, including model and tool integrations and agent capabilities.
• Create evaluation and regression tooling to measure and gate AI behavior, while improving reliability, safety, observability, cost, and latency.
• Prototype and deploy multimodal, context-aware experiences across Alexa, Fire TV, and mobile or wearable surfaces.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years contributing to new and current systems architecture and design, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the full software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with agentic software development tools such as Kiro, Claude, or Cursor.

Pay

165,200.00 - 223,600.00 USD annually (base salary)
