Software Development Engineer II, Amazon Manufacturing Services (AMS)

What you'll do

• Develop AWS event-driven backend services, React applications, APIs, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate AMS with enterprise manufacturing platforms using event-based and API-based patterns.
• Collaborate on system design, code reviews, and architecture decisions; operate services and applications.

What they ask for

• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience; 2+ years each in system design or architecture, full-stack development, and production software.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training/inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience; 4+ years of full-stack development experience.
• Experience in optimization, machine learning, statistical modeling, data mining, analytics, or LLM fundamentals; Master's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Pay

143,700.00 - 194,400.00 USD annually (base salary)
