Software Development Manager, Amazon Robotics, Amazon Robotics Movement Team

What you'll do

• Lead and develop software engineers while setting a 1–2 year technical roadmap for the team’s systems.
• Own end-to-end delivery of software features across front ends, APIs, microservices, and data layers.
• Partner with stakeholders and engineering teams to define requirements, align priorities, and improve software reliability and engineering practices.

What they ask for

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience and 7+ years of engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading definition and development of multi tier web services; 3+ years providing technical leadership and project management across the software development lifecycle.
• 3+ years developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++; service-oriented architecture; and distributed programming.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Nice to have

• Communicating technical designs, product features, requirements, and strategy to users, technical teams, and senior leadership.
• Recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing Software Engineers.

Pay

184,900.00 - 250,200.00 USD annually (base salary)
