Software Development Manager, Cloudwatch Logs

What you'll do

• Lead, recruit, mentor, and develop engineers while building a culture of ownership and inclusion.
• Set the team roadmap, guide architectural decisions, and improve system scale, reliability, performance, and customer experience.
• Own operational excellence, including deployment safety, metrics, on-call health, and availability; partner with product and service teams to deliver solutions.

What they ask for

• 4+ years of engineering team management experience and 8+ years of engineering experience.
• 8+ years leading the definition and development of multi tier web services; 3+ years of technical leadership and project management across the software development lifecycle.
• 3+ years developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using Java, C#, or C++; 3+ years using service-oriented architecture; 1+ years using distributed programming.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; knowledge of full software/hardware/networks development life cycle practices; experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Nice to have

• Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership about requirements, features, designs, and strategy.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing Software Engineers.

Pay

184,900.00 - 250,200.00 USD annually (base salary)
