Software Development Manager, Frontier Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC)

What you'll do

• Set team strategy, technical roadmap, staffing, and delivery mechanisms; lead execution across multiple services and regions.
• Hire, develop, and retain engineers, and provide technical direction through architecture reviews and complex operational investigations.
• Own service delivery and operational performance, improving security, reliability, automation, and scalability in partnership with other organizations.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of engineering team management experience; 8+ years leading the definition and development of multi tier web services; 1+ years developing large-scale, multi-tiered distributed software systems using service-oriented architecture; and 5+ years of Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupational experience.
• Knowledge of engineering practices across the software/hardware/networks development life cycle, and experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above; must maintain active TS/SCI clearance and obtain and maintain TS/SCI with polygraph or commensurate agency clearance after starting.

Nice to have

• Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership about requirements, product features, technical designs, and strategy.
• Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing software engineering teams.

Pay

184,900.00 - 250,200.00 USD annually (base salary)
