Software Development Manager, Project Dawn

What you'll do

• Lead, hire, and develop engineers; set priorities with Science and Product partners.
• Turn science model improvements into production systems and repeatable deployment pipelines.
• Own delivery roadmaps, engineering tradeoffs, and operational standards for availability, latency, data quality, and cost.

What they ask for

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of engineering experience, including 7+ years leading the definition and development of multi tier web services.
• 3+ years providing technical leadership and project management across the software development lifecycle.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field; knowledge of full lifecycle engineering practices; experience partnering with product or program management; and experience recruiting, mentoring, and managing software engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience productionizing machine learning models or LLM-based applications; familiarity with web-scale crawling, data extraction, or content ingestion.
• Experience building systems on AWS (ECS, SageMaker, Bedrock, Glue) at production scale.

Pay

184,900.00 - 250,200.00 USD annually (base salary)
