Sr. Builder - Mobile (Sr. SDE), Ring

What you'll do

• Lead technical design and delivery of core mobile experiences and own their architecture, quality, reliability, and long-term health.
• Champion AI-powered development workflows, including code generation, automated testing, code review, and debugging.
• Partner across engineering, product, and UX; mentor engineers and drive operational excellence for owned surfaces.

What they ask for

• 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience and 5+ years programming in at least one language.
• 5+ years leading design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• 5+ years of deep native iOS or Android development with working knowledge of the other platform, or equivalent production mobile app depth with React Native or a comparable cross-platform framework and strong familiarity with a native platform.
• Experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team; shipping and operating features at large scale; and using modern mobile architectures and the full mobile SDLC.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Adoption of AI-powered development tools and practices; experience with cross-team mobile surfaces or strict reliability, latency, or correctness requirements.

Pay

168,100.00 - 227,400.00 USD annually (base salary)
