Sr. Construction Manager

What you'll do

• Manage construction projects, including scope, budget, schedule, quality control, and construction documentation.
• Lead contractor bidding, negotiations, execution, and closeout; review proposals and manage vendors.
• Review electrical and mechanical designs, report construction metrics, and lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.

What they ask for

• Experience defining data center system architecture, documenting equipment requirements, developing conceptual designs, and maintaining project documentation.
• Construction management experience on large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants; experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or large-scale mechanical and electrical plants.
• 12+ years of general contractor and vendor management work and construction/project execution experience.
• 12+ years constructing and managing complex MEP systems in mission-critical environments; bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent engineering science, OR 16+ years relevant overall experience in lieu of degree. 50–75% travel expected.

Nice to have

• Project management experience in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, standard operating procedures, or building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, or OSHA.

Pay

139,300.00 - 208,000.00 USD annually (base salary)
