Sr. Construction Manager, Data Center Construction

What you'll do

• Manage construction project scope, quality, schedule, budget, contractors, and vendors across data center builds and capital projects.
• Represent Amazon on construction sites; manage bidding, proposals, negotiations, execution, punch lists, and closeout.
• Support commissioning, testing, operational handoff, construction progress reporting, and constructability reviews.

What they ask for

• Experience constructing electrical systems, including large-scale power distribution/generation equipment, and mechanical systems, including cooling systems.
• Experience managing construction or construction programs for large, complex projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants.
• Experience with project controls (cost or schedule, or both) and construction programs for infrastructure and mission-critical projects, on-site and in preconstruction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent engineering science; or 16+ years of related construction management experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with environmental due diligence, permitting, and compliance, including CWA 404 and NPDES permitting.
• Experience with project controls standards or environmental compliance and permitting; understanding of data center system architecture and electrical engineering principles.

Pay

139,300.00 - 208,000.00 USD annually (base salary)
