Owns mechanical design and development of spacecraft avionics hardware, from early architecture through flight, including packaging, qualification, and production support.
What you'll do
- Design spacecraft avionics packaging and hardware, and develop qualification hardware, fixtures, tooling, and test equipment.
- Conduct trade studies, analysis, prototyping, and testing to improve performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate across engineering teams, investigate root causes, implement design improvements, and mentor junior engineers.
