About the job

Owns and develops phased-array RF front-end architecture for Direct-to-Device and Broadband satellite payloads, from antenna element to digital interface, and supports validation, production, and on-orbit operations.

What you'll do

  • Define and optimize RF front-end and T/R module architecture, ensuring performance across beam-steering angles and alignment with digital beamforming.
  • Set component-level and radiation-tolerance requirements, conduct semiconductor process trade studies, and validate requirements through testing.
  • Support thermal and power architecture, production, lab measurements, and on-orbit debugging.

What they ask for

  • Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in component selection and reliability; RF measurement equipment; wireless system design, integration, and analysis; and practical semiconductor design and integration.
  • Experience in phased-array RF front-end or T/R module architecture, including performance across beam-steering angles; RF simulators or link-budget tools using MATLAB, Python, or C++.
  • 7+ years of experience in RF front-end or phased-array architecture for wireless, satellite, or defense applications.

Nice to have

  • Space vehicle/satellite operations, space communications, or related industry experience; PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
  • Multi-band or wideband RF front-end experience across cellular-band and Ka-band or mmWave; scan performance analysis; or PA linearity-efficiency optimization using DPD or CFR.
