Sr. Regional Environmental Engineer, AWS Environmental Team

What you'll do

• Assess site risks and lead environmental due diligence, including site assessments and resource evaluations.
• Develop and deliver environmental permitting strategies, permits, approvals, and plans for construction and operations.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, and track project metrics.

What they ask for

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience delivering environmental due diligence, permitting, and compliance projects, including expertise in CWA 404 and NPDES permitting, groundwater protection, wastewater discharge, and natural and cultural resource evaluations.
• 7+ years experience conducting environmental due diligence for greenfield and brownfield sites.
• At least 3 years of project or task management experience for environmental permitting and/or due diligence projects.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of working in data centers or critical infrastructure experience; experience managing large projects and multifunctional teams.
• Experience across multiple US states, community/public interactions, or Smartsheet or other project management software.

Pay
