About the job

Defines, designs, simulates, and validates signal and power integrity for AWS next-generation machine-learning ASIC platforms.

What you'll do

  • Run high-speed channel simulations and SI/PI analyses to optimize signal integrity and PCB layouts.
  • Analyze PCIe equalization, clock distribution, and jitter; troubleshoot signal-integrity issues.
  • Collaborate with hardware and PCB teams on stack-ups, manufacturing trade-offs, and production reliability.

What they ask for

  • Deep understanding of signal-integrity concepts and analytical skills in SI/PI.
  • Hands-on experience with simulation tools and high-speed channel simulation, including system-level modeling and validation.
  • Experience with PCIe protocols and DFE, CTLE, and FFE equalization; knowledge of clock distribution and jitter analysis.
  • Expertise in PCB layout and manufacturing, including stack-up design, dielectric selection, impedance control, and layer optimization.

Nice to have

  • Power-integrity analysis and power delivery network (PDN) optimization.
  • High-speed compliance testing and validation, or EMC/EMI mitigation.
