About the job

Models and analyzes power across machine-learning accelerator SoC design stages, and drives power reduction through design feedback, lab measurements, and collaboration across engineering teams.

What you'll do

  • Perform full-chip power analysis and modeling from RTL through gate-level netlist, and maintain power-rollup dashboards.
  • Develop analysis vectors with engineering teams for IR, thermal, and power estimation; provide power-reduction feedback to designers and architects.
  • Measure power in the lab, correlate results with simulations, and model chip-level power with emulation engineers.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • BS + 6yrs or MS + 5yrs or PhD + 3yr in EE/CS.
  • Expertise with power analysis tools such as PrimePower, PowerArtist, or similar; deep circuit-level understanding of chip power.
  • Proficiency in Tcl, Perl, Python, or similar; understanding of Physical Design, EM/IR, Power Integrity, and Thermal; some lab-equipment experience and ability to perform lab power analysis.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with Make, RTL design (System verilog), EMIR tools (Redhawk / Voltus), or Zebu Emulator platform.

Pay

213,000.00 - 287,500.00 USD annually (base salary)
