Sr. Software Development Manager, Alexa Connections

What you'll do

• Lead teams developing consumer UX, Alexa communication systems, third-party telecom integrations, and Alexa LLM architecture.
• Coordinate implementation with internal and external partners and balance time-to-market with long-term technical evolution.
• Set organizational strategy and responsibilities, develop team culture, and influence the direction of Alexa+ devices and services.

What they ask for

• 10+ years of engineering experience and 5+ years of engineering team management experience; also asks for 7+ years managing technical teams with significant personnel management experience.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.
• BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field.
• Track record using data to build cloud and/or edge AI models, prompt engineering, and tuning GenAI LLMs; experience communicating strategy to senior executives.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Knowledge of real-time communications, collaboration, networking, computer vision, multimodal AI, global telecommunications infrastructure, carrier relationships, or global data and telecom regulations.

Pay

USD 253,100.00 - 342,300.00 annually (base salary); USD 220,100.00 - 297,700.00 annually (base salary)
