Sr. System Development Engineer, AWS EC2 Manufacturing Infrastructure Services

What you'll do

• Own reliability of manufacturing network, systems, and platform infrastructure across global partner sites; develop infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting tools.
• Guide infrastructure design and standards with manufacturing partners, support new-site readiness, and implement security and operational best practices.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and build systems for operating manufacturing infrastructure at scale.

What they ask for

• 3+ years programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby; 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 3+ years designing or architecting new and existing systems; 5+ years of systems engineering, network engineering, or SRE experience owning reliability strategy for distributed infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in Linux OS and network troubleshooting, advanced networking, and systems engineering fundamentals in distributed, multi-site environments.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale infrastructure or cloud programs, implementing automation frameworks at scale, and mentoring engineers or driving technical decisions across team boundaries.

Nice to have

• Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or manufacturing technology environments; experience with AWS services in edge/hybrid environments.
• Experience with security architecture, on-premise infrastructure, bare-metal provisioning, observability, or external partner/vendor relationships.

Pay

173,900.00 - 235,200.00 USD annually (base salary)
