About the job
Own production planning for El Segundo and help define, test, and improve AMCA’s custom MRP system and planning processes as they scale across factories.
What you'll do
- Own the master production schedule, review MRP outputs, and release purchase requests with actionable priorities and lead times.
- Define planning requirements and processes for custom MRP; work with engineers to test functionality against production data and builds.
- Maintain BOMs, planning parameters, and inventory accuracy; investigate exceptions and correct their root causes.

- 5+ years in production planning, materials planning, master scheduling, or supply chain systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience shaping planning through at least one ERP or MRP implementation, migration, or major reconfiguration.
- Demonstrated ownership of a master production schedule or significant planning segment; deep MRP fluency.
- Working knowledge of BOMs and engineering changes; based onsite in El Segundo five days a week, able to travel up to 15%, and willing to work extended hours as needed.
Nice to have
- Aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing background; planning across multiple sites or factories.
- Experience writing planning-software requirements with engineers; familiarity with configuration control, effectivity dates, and engineering change orders; SQL, Power BI, or capacity-planning exposure.
Pay
$110,000 — $150,000 USD (base salary); $52.88 — $72.12 USD (hourly pay)
