Head of Procurement

What you'll do

• Develop sourcing plans and negotiate vendor terms for critical transmission equipment.
• Coordinate with engineering, development, and commercial teams on equipment specifications and requirements.
• Manage equipment delivery timelines and establish repeatable processes for supplier selection, contracts, tracking, and risk management.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or another relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong working knowledge of power systems or electrical engineering design and development processes.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience procuring major equipment for large capital projects, with a record of keeping projects on schedule.
• Experience developing custom-engineered projects with long-lead equipment and sourcing components at commercial scale, including vendor negotiations.

Nice to have

• 15+ years of experience in the power transmission industry.
• Familiarity with HVDC systems or high-voltage transmission hardware; international sourcing and logistics; startup environments; or contract negotiation and vendor management.
