Leads customer site-level power system design and integration for Amperesand products, from modeling and protection coordination through technical guidance and deployment oversight.
What you'll do
- Design, model, and optimize site electrical systems, including infrastructure sizing and protection coordination.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customer and EPC teams; develop standardized CAD packages, single-line diagrams, and reference architectures.
- Coordinate with internal teams on customer applications, product requirements, code compliance, and successful deployment.

- 7+ years of power systems engineering experience, with depth in ETAP, SKM, or equivalent modeling and analysis, including protection device coordination.
- Proficiency with CAD tools and experience developing single-line diagrams, power distribution architectures, and technical documentation for MW-scale or utility-interactive systems.
- Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, or UL codes and standards; experience working with EPCs, contractors, or customer engineering teams; ability to travel to customer/project sites as needed.

- Experience with grid-tie inverters, battery storage, or large-scale power electronics; cross-functional work with sales, product management, and product design/engineering.
Pay
$180,000 — $220,000 USD (base salary); $160,000 — $180,000 USD (base salary)
