Security Engineer - Platform & Shared Services

What you'll do

• Build and operate security controls and automation across cloud infrastructure, identity, endpoints, secrets, and CI/CD.
• Assess vulnerabilities, code, and architectures; guide engineering teams on risk reduction and secure solutions.
• Respond to security incidents, conduct forensic analysis, and maintain tested response runbooks.

What they ask for

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems administration, DevOps, network engineering, or software development, prior to or alongside security work.
• Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or GCP and experience managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience scripting and automating with Python, Go, or Bash.
• Working knowledge of IAM, PKI, cryptography basics, network protocol analysis, and threat modeling; experience with Docker or Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Offensive security experience, such as penetration testing, red teaming, bug bounty programs, or reverse engineering.
• Experience with advanced container security tools, zero trust, custom SAST or DAST rules, SBOM and supply chain security, or specialized identity and cryptography technologies.

Pay

$120,000 - $185,000 USD base salary
