Owns the diagnosis, rework, upgrade, and acceptance of turbine engines, maintaining configuration records and feeding failure findings back to engineering teams.
What you'll do
- Diagnose engine failures, lead teardown and inspection, and determine repair or scrap disposition.
- Create rework instructions, manage engine configuration and upgrade paths, and coordinate parts, costs, and turnaround.
- Verify reworked engines pass acceptance testing and document their final build state.
