Designs and improves manufacturing operations, production lines, and capacity plans to increase quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery as defense products scale.
What you'll do
- Design production lines, workstation layouts, capacity plans, staffing allocations, and manufacturing schedules.
- Use production data and a virtual factory model to monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and guide operational improvements.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve constraints and improve production.

- Experience with Technomatix “Plant Sim” or equivalent DES software, or basic object-oriented programming, or working with large data sets using SQL or No-SQL.
- Ability to read technical documentation for facilities, assemblies, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Experience designing or setting up production lines or factories; Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma experience is also preferred.
Pay
$127,000 — $170,000 USD (base salary)
