Leads the development, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes for solid fuel rocket motors, from design and equipment selection through safe, high-volume production.
What you'll do
- Develop and manage manufacturing processes, capital equipment, budgets, and projects from concept through implementation.
- Create process flows and manufacturing documentation, and work hands-on with technicians and contract manufacturers to ensure safe, high-quality production.
- Optimize established production processes, mentor engineers, and work with suppliers on sourcing, production issues, and quality procedures.
