Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical (Dive-XL)

What you'll do

• Resolve mechanical assembly and process problems; lead root-cause analysis and incorporate corrective actions into production.
• Own manufacturing BOMs, routings, work instructions, tooling, and production-line improvements.
• Support line setup, equipment and automation, DFM/DFA, production metrics, and technician and engineer development.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing or production engineering experience on complex mechanical hardware, or 3+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience owning a product or major assembly through production, leading root-cause and continuous-improvement work, and using complex drawings and strong GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience with manufacturing BOMs, routings, and engineering changes in an ERP, PLM, or MES; 3D CAD for fixture and tooling design; eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Production line design and setup; large welded aluminum structures; subsea or pressure-rated hardware; engineering release workflows connecting PLM, ERP, and MES.
• Production data analysis in Python, MATLAB, or Minitab; taking a large vehicle, aircraft, or ship from low-rate to rate production.
