Senior Network Security Engineer, Space

What you'll do

• Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot classified enterprise networks, including routers, switches, firewalls, WAN connectivity, and cryptographic equipment.
• Ensure STIG compliance, JSIG posture, segmentation, COMSEC accountability, and network-level continuous monitoring; support security assessments and vulnerability remediation.
• Lead incident root-cause analysis and technical escalations, coordinate network-impacting changes, and support automation and steady-state operations.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing enterprise network infrastructure in classified environments.
• Deep expertise in routing, switching, and firewall technologies including Cisco IOS-XE, NX-OS, and security appliances.
• Demonstrated COMSEC operations experience, including key management, material accountability, and NSA coordination; strong understanding of STIG, JSIG, and RMF.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience; eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with MACsec, HSRP, VRF, VPC, ACLs, BGP, and EIGRP.
• Recent experience with Cisco IOS-XE/NX-OS platforms, Cisco FTD or ASA firewalls or VPN concentrators, classified WANs, or CAB/ITIL change management.

$147,000 — $196,000 USD (base salary)
