Senior Product Quality Engineer

What you'll do

• Drive product, manufacturing, supplier, and field quality improvements, including reliability and quality metrics.
• Maintain Quality Management System compliance and support AS9100 certification, inspections, audits, and MRB activities.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions, and partner cross-functionally to improve supplier and manufacturing controls.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a similar technical field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience with OEM suppliers and manufacturing operations building complex hardware/software systems, and 5+ years in engineering, manufacturing, or quality in aerospace/defense, automotive, or medical devices.
• Experience in an ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 regulated environment; working knowledge of quality core tools including FMEA, RCCA/8D, APQP, PPAP, and GD&T.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical metrology tools; eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a technical field; lead auditor experience for AS9100 or another ISO 9001-based QMS standard.
• Experience with Integrated Dewar Cooler Assemblies (IDCAs), Infrared (IR) Cameras, or high-mix low-volume manufacturing and suppliers.

Pay

$147,000 — $196,000 USD (base salary)
