Senior Quality Engineer, Applied AI

What you'll do

• Design test strategies, validation approaches, and release readiness criteria for AI software and agentic workflows.
• Partner with engineers to detect failure modes and build automated testing, observability, and operational safeguards.
• Support implementation, launch readiness, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

What they ask for

• 5+ years in software engineering, site reliability engineering, quality engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a closely related role.
• Experience building or operating reliable production software, including testing, observability, deployment confidence, and operational readiness.
• Technical fluency in modern software architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and cloud or platform infrastructure; experience with frontier AI tooling, AI coding assistants, LLM-enabled applications, or agentic systems.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience; U.S. Person status required.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting AI-first development teams and designing quality controls for non-deterministic systems.
• Experience with automated testing, infrastructure as code, cloud platforms, observability, release engineering, or enterprise systems.

Pay

$146,000 — $194,000 USD (base salary)
