Senior Software Engineer, C++

What you'll do

• Shape team technical direction, mentor engineers, and remain hands-on in design, implementation, and code review.
• Build, test, analyze, and optimize software; guide prototypes toward deployed tactical implementations.
• Lead technical planning and customer discussions, and own software delivery through the development lifecycle.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of software engineering experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python; experience working collaboratively with large, complex codebases and providing hands-on technical leadership and mentorship.
• Direct experience in air and missile defense domains, such as tracking, sensor fusion, threat classification, kill-chain development, or command-and-control systems.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance; knowledge of big data/NoSQL/databases, applied mathematics, and engineering topics including controls and digital signal processing.

Nice to have

• Experience leading small teams or technical workstreams while remaining a top individual contributor.
• Experience with asynchronous, parallel, or GPU programming, or deploying software to tactical/edge environments.

Pay

$190,000 — $252,000 USD (base salary)
