Senior Software Engineer, Embedded Product Security

What you'll do

• Implement and maintain signed boot, encryption, signing-key management, and release-pipeline enforcement across compute generations.
• Define platform hardening and manage fleet vulnerability triage, patching, and security-state visibility.
• Partner with product security and program stakeholders to ship security requirements and support accreditation efforts.

What they ask for

• 4+ years of professional software engineering with a security focus on Linux or embedded systems.
• Hands-on secure boot implementation and practical cryptographic engineering experience, including PKI, HSM or PKCS#11-backed signing, key lifecycle management, and full-disk encryption.
• Strong Linux internals knowledge; proficiency in C or Rust and shell; practical hardening and vulnerability-management experience on real systems.
• US person status and an active US Secret clearance or previously granted Secret clearance eligible for reactivation.

Nice to have

• NVIDIA Jetson secure boot or another SoC vendor’s secure boot and fusing workflow; measured boot, TPMs, or remote attestation.
• Declarative configuration and reproducible builds (especially Nix or NixOS); accreditation, offensive security, or supply chain security experience.

Pay

$220,000 — $292,000 USD (base salary)
