Senior Software Engineer, GNC Modeling

What you'll do

• Build vehicle-dynamics, interceptor-performance, and weapon-effectiveness models and simulations.
• Develop resource models, control systems, trajectory prediction, and state estimation for asset tasking and threat assessment.
• Integrate and validate modeling tools in the command-and-control software stack, adapting them to mission needs.

What they ask for

• 8+ years in algorithm design, software development, and mathematical modeling; programming expertise in Python and MATLAB.
• Experience in GNC, trajectory prediction and state estimation, and/or predictive models for vehicle dynamics and weapon-system effectiveness.
• Exposure to resource modeling and control systems for asset tasking and allocation in command-and-control environments.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with Rust.
• Physics-based modeling of interceptors or other high-speed aerial vehicles.
