Senior Software Engineer (Rust), Intelligence Systems

What you'll do

• Architect, maintain, and refactor complex software systems to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability.
• Develop Rust software for real-time systems, simulation environments, and decision support tools.
• Apply design patterns and architectural practices to manage technical debt and guide production systems.

What they ask for

• 3+ years of production-grade Rust experience in a Linux development environment.
• Experience building software involving significant data processing and analysis.
• Experience with network protocols and strong networking fundamentals.
• Eligible and able to maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.

• Experience with embedded or hard real-time systems, VPNs, or protocols such as strongswan, wireguard, and IPsec.
• Experience modernizing Rust codebases, technical leadership, open-source Rust contributions, or concurrent and parallel programming in Rust.
