Build and operate environmental test capabilities for reactor hardware, from equipment selection and commissioning through safe test execution, reliable results, and lab operations.
What you'll do
- Plan lab capabilities; specify, evaluate, procure, commission, and verify test equipment in coordination with Facilities and vendors.
- Develop test methods, procedures, acceptance criteria, and reporting; coordinate hands-on testing, instrumentation, data acquisition, and troubleshooting.
- Manage equipment maintenance, calibration, training, safety, capacity, and—when workload warrants—technician hiring and management.
