About the job

Owns autonomous security, inspection, and detection systems across Anthropic-operated and partner data center sites, from platform integration and controls through ongoing operations.

What you'll do

  • Select, integrate, operate, and maintain drones, robots, automated vehicles, and their data paths for patrol, response, and inspection.
  • Build security-monitoring integrations and tools or AI agents for detection triage, fleet health monitoring, and evidence assembly.
  • Define and implement sensing, automation controls, regulatory requirements, health monitoring, and vendor acceptance processes for each site.

What they ask for

  • Have field-engineered autonomous or sensing systems, integrated or secured them for an operation, and verified performance against real targets or runs.
  • Have integrated third-party systems into a durable platform; read and review code, design security-tooling data systems, and build automation using Git and code review.
  • Have hands-on experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, or a large hardware fleet.
  • Have designed within regulatory or safety constraints and owned a domain end to end with vendors, operators, partners, and authorities.

Nice to have

  • Remote pilot certification (for example FAA Part 107) and experience flying beyond visual line of sight under a waiver or exemption.
  • Experience with counter-UAS detection, industrial or data-center fleets, securing robotic or operational technology, physical security operations, or AI agents that replace recurring manual work.
