About the job

Own the behind-the-meter generation, battery storage, microgrid, and utility interconnection architecture for data centers supporting large-scale AI training and inference.

What you'll do

  • Design and deliver on-site generation, battery storage, and microgrid systems, including temporary power, islanding, black-start, and resynchronization.
  • Lead interconnection and power-quality engineering, studies, vendor diligence, technical specifications, and commissioning across multiple sites.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, hardware, compute, utilities, vendors, and project partners to deliver reliable power systems.

What they ask for

  • 10+ years of engineering experience in power generation, microgrids, battery energy storage, or utility interconnection, including substantial on-site or distributed-generation work for mission-critical, data center, or large industrial loads.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more generation technologies, including sizing, paralleling, fuel systems, and emissions controls.
  • Fluency in interconnection standards and processes, including IEEE 1547, IEEE 2800, and utility or ISO/RTO requirements; ability to run or review power-system studies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a closely related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • MW-scale battery storage, microgrid-controller delivery, large-load interconnection, substation or protection engineering, or renewable hybrid plant experience.
  • PE licensure; EMT modeling or data center, hyperscaler, or large-campus microgrid experience.

Pay
