Runs and improves tax systems by managing configuration, testing changes, analyzing tax data, maintaining controls evidence, and coordinating between tax and technical teams.
What you'll do
- Manage tax-system requests and maintain documented tax configuration as products and registrations change.
- Design and run user acceptance tests; write SQL reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare tax-control evidence, support audits, and build checked tools and documentation using Claude and other AI tools.
What they ask for
- Hands-on experience configuring or supporting an enterprise tax engine, tax provision tooling, or a billing or ERP system in a tax-facing role.
- Able to write SQL for deterministic reconciliations and trace discrepancies to their source independently.
- Experience with finance-systems user acceptance testing, from test design through execution and evidence.
- Understanding of SOX, ITGC and IPE controls, including producing auditor-accepted evidence and working with external advisors and auditors.
Nice to have

$205,000 — $270,000 USD (base salary)
