Owns SOX IT general controls assurance for technology systems, defining controls with engineering and establishing continuous monitoring and evidence readiness.
What you'll do
- Define SOX ITGC requirements and acceptance criteria for in-scope systems, including controls designed into new and changing systems.
- Establish continuous control monitoring and automated evidence collection; assess deficiencies and verify remediation.
- Coordinate with engineering, Finance, Internal Audit, and external auditors on SOX scope, control design, and evidence.

- Led or was a senior contributor to an ITGC program through SOX 404 readiness and/or at a public company; working command of PCAOB AS 2201 and COSO 2013.
- Can read code and Terraform, follow a CI/CD pipeline, and assess technical designs.
- Programming skills in Python or at least one systems language such as Go, Rust, or C/C++.
- Deep familiarity with developer platform, release engineering, cloud infrastructure, or ERP/financial systems control domains.
Nice to have
- Experience with first-year SOX 404(a) and 404(b) assessments, continuous controls monitoring, or automated evidence programs.
- Audit or advisory experience paired with in-house AI-forward tech company experience; relevant certifications include CISSP, CISA, or CPA.

$410,000 — $510,000 USD annual salary (base salary)
