About the job

Conduct computational biology research and build analysis infrastructure that supports experimental programs, generates testable hypotheses, and helps improve AI tools for scientific discovery.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain biological data analysis pipelines and computational infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with experimental biologists to design experiments and rapidly analyze results.
  • Use Claude and internal agent frameworks, providing evaluations, datasets, and failure cases to model-improvement and product teams.

What they ask for

  • PhD in a relevant quantitative or biological field, or equivalent industry research experience.
  • End-to-end computational biology research with evidence of impact, and breadth across multiple areas.
  • Proficiency in one or more scientific computing programming languages; comfort with large datasets, Linux, and cloud compute.
  • Ability to scope ambiguous biological questions, produce actionable results, and communicate with biologists and ML researchers.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experimental biology or experience designing experiments with experimentalists.
  • Experience building tools, pipelines, or agentic systems on top of LLMs, or training models on biological sequence data.

Pay
